Material: HSN

Description:

Highly Saturated Nitrile

Highly Saturated Nitrile (HSN), also known as Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR), is special class of Nitrile rubber (NBR) widely known for its physical strength and retention of properties after long-term exposure to heat, oil, and chemicals. HSN's improvement in material properties, over that of NBR, include greater thermal stability and range, improved oxidation resistance, broader chemical resistance, and greater tensile strength. HSN has excellent resistance to common automotive fluids (e.g., engine oil, coolant, fuel, etc.) and many industrial chemicals.
